Bath & West Exhibition
This year we entered three pieces into the Bath & West Show Art Exhibition, and not only did all three get selected to be shown, but Phoenix was awarded a ‘Highly Commended’!
The pieces selected were:
Phoenix
Made purely for fun based on an idea that came to me and demanded to be made, this fused glass piece is formed from many small pieces of coloured glass, arranged and layered before being fused together. It is displayed in a metal stand that allows the light to shine through the glass, bringing it to life.
Ancient Patterns I
This is a new piece of wall art, the first in a new series of work exploring patterns in Roman mosaics, art, and architecture. Coloured glass forms a landscape based on the area around Low Ham in Somerset. Behind the landscape, a relief image has been kiln-carved depicting Dido and Aenas, based on the mosaic found at Low Ham Roman villa.
Wasted
You may have spotted Wasted on our website before - made from fully recycled materials, it is a light-hearted yet meaningful sculpture that can be interpreted in a number of ways.
You can see all three pieces in the Art Pavillion at the Royal Bath & West Show, 28-30th May 2026.
